It sounded to me like Fischer first expressed an argument being used against Romney (that Mitt couldn't stand up to him and his group) and then denied that, explaining why he thought Mitt wanted to get rid of this guy all along.

Which makes no sense, of course, because the campaign obviously had hired Grenell!
