24. Most Democrats in Conress voted against the IWR, 147 Democratic No votes to 111 Democratic Yes votes

So on that vote, he was not more liberal than most Democrats, as most of them made the same choice he did. Not Clinton, Biden, Kerry or Edwards, but fact is most Democrats opposed that war and voted against it.
