5. I don't understand how hard it is to see the obvious

extreme right wing, conservative leadership in this country screams about the threat of extreme, right wing, conservative leadership in Iran.

This is what the ENTIRE middle east bullshit is about, extreme right wing, conservative elements at each other's throats.

You would THINK this being the case, people would ...

CUT OUR EXTREME RIGHT WING LEADERSHIP OUT OF IT.

But, somehow, they get the microphones stuck in their faces and get to drive the discussion about it.

When I talk about this stuff with people I know who are republicans, it blows their minds and they most often get agitated when I highlight that the leadership over there mirrors the republicans here.

They can't fathom that because they have been spoon fed for decades now that the weak liberal is in league with the terrorists!

The people they say are such a big threat scream about the same things they scream about - liberalism, secularism, they demagogue gays and are against abortion, want to keep women in their places.

Seriously, leave the rest of us out of it.
