Then around midnight last night I couldn't get back into DU at all for some reason, and I was just able to do that now.

Moosepoop wants to get all the privacy settings set up before I start passing the link around (at this point, I can't even figure out what the link to my page even IS), but I managed to get the profile photo and cover photo done and I put the story in the "Events" part since I couldn't figure out how else to do it, but I still can't figure out what it looks like to other people. It looks a mess at the moment with all the junk about books, movies, sports and all that nonsense it wants me to put in and I can't figure out how to make it go away, but worse I can't seem to get rid of this constant list of people with their photos that I don't know and wanting me to "friend".

I'm not kidding, I feel like a neanderthal seeing a computer for the first time trying to figure this out!

I need to do soooo much stuff today. Yoshi is having his yearly massive shedding going on a little earlier than usual, so I have to brush, brush, brush him till he's bald or there's nothing left but a big floppy pink tongue. Akitas only shed once a year, but they do it all at once for a couple of weeks until all the undercoat is out... great clumps of fur all over the place! The only thing to do is just brush and brush until it's all out, but holy cow what a nightmare while it's in process! I have to do it outside, and it's been windy for weeks, so all the hair goes flying before I can gather most of it up. I think there's at least 20 birds in my yard gathering it up to line their nests with, and he's been out there for hours having a ball chasing them all. I need to get most of it out of the yard though or he'll roll around in it trying to put it back on! Everything is such a game to him.
