I love that people change their minds if they go in the right direction It tells me they have thought about it, and examined the issues rather than just following friends or family. My dad was a republican until Reagan made his head explode but everyone else in my family and extended family were/are politically active dems.

The thing about "reformed whores" as we lovingly called my dad when he switched, is that they sometimes become the most liberal and outspoken. My dad put some of the godless commie pinkos in my family to shame with his politics after Reagan.
