(15,438 posts)them "ObamaBots"...at least, here on DU as well as in the RW-Troll sphere.
I have NO problem with legitimate criticisms of SoS Hillary Clinton. She needs to know what she's not doing right in order to earn the vote of the majority of Americans and the White House. This is not New York, where they have Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Andrew Cuomo who are, imo, barely Democrats (even less of a Democrat than Dianne Feinstein, and I consider her borderline DINO). She can get away with being more conservative in New York, but that won't work in national elections.
I believe that the first reason under the Hillary Clinton rubric in your post is true. Americans - the vast majority - want a a strong Democrat with name recognition in order to beat the Republicans for the White House. HOWEVER, we need a real Democrat who is at least as progressive as President Obama, and SoS Clinton will need to move more to the left in order to convince us that she's the candidate for us. I hope to see her seek counsel frequently with President Obama and Senator Warren in the coming months.
