3. This is not just about Nugent, this is about the entire NRA

The NRA elected this guy to their Board of Directors to represent them and he does represent them. This is not the first time he has suggested assassination of a prominent Democrat, in fact it is at least the fourth time that I am aware of yet the NRA keeps giving him a platform to advocate assassination.

The NRA would not keep handing this guy a microphone nor would they allow him to sit on their board of directors if he did not represent them.

At DU we need to make it clear that we do not support organizations that promote this shit. NRA supporters should not be allowed to post here just as supporters of other right-wing hate groups are not allowed to post here.
