I loved Star Trek Voyager and watched it because it was the first, and so far only time, that the captain was a woman. I was young and thought that Captain Janeway was cool. She was a good role model for girls and women.

Coincidentally, later on today I'm going to Kate Mulgrew's book signing in NY at a Barnes & Noble by Union Square. I haven't gone to a book signing before, but I want to show her my support. She's a feminist, very intelligent, an active Democrat and a cool person. Kate used to be married to Tim Hagan. Hagan is a politician from Ohio who ran for governor in 2002. Unfortunately, he lost to Robert Taft (he was the incumbent Republican). I almost forgot to mention that she now plays "Red" in OITNB.

As for O'Reilly, he's an idiot. I have no use for the guy.
