I do know this much. When I was dealing with arthritis pain my one option was opiate pain killers to deal with the pain. It was NOT an option for me, I know too many people start off with that and end up getting addicted to that crap. I had read that Medicinal Marijuana actually has worked for arthritis, actor James Garner swore by it. There are a few states that use it but not my state. There were other options like losing weight (and yes after 75lbs that did work too).

I cannot disregard the damage that legal prescription pain killers have done to this country and why we continue to fight against the use of legalizing marijuana in some form. I think smart laws need to be in place - I don't want to be working with people who are wasted or having someone driving a bus or flying a plane while wasted. But for home use and medicinal purposes we need to open this path.
