And let's reverse the genders involved and see what story we have. "Dad arrested for providing marijuana and alcohol to his underage son and friends at a party. At some point, dad has sex with an adult female in the bathroom who was also attending the party."

Does this story make the news? Does dad's face get plastered all over the internet?

I don't think so. Why not, you may ask? Because it's not nearly as interesting. The puritanical obsession to publicly shame women who commit these types of acts is greater than with men.

Just my $0.02.

And, FWIW, I don't find this story interesting or even newsworthy. I think it is sad.
