(38,873 posts)is that progressives have no business excusing discriminatory behavior because those in charge of signage screwed up. If there is a handicapped parking sign that is too low, or the curb is not blue, etc. as long as you can tell the intent is that the parking space is reserved for people with disabilities, if you don't have have a disability - stay out of the parking spot. Period.
Where the van was parked, in this instance, whether it was parked or merely picking up, who parked it, etc. is not what I was primarily addressing (although I did add a note at the end to ward of response like yours & the previous one).
I don't care about the details of this particular incident. I do care about suggesting that parking in a handicapped parking space is ok because it wasn't properly marked.
