57. Yeah, what version of History do you call that?

My single argument on Benghazi posted on this or any site was that we should open up and tell the truth, that we made a mistake, and thus utterly defuse the Conspiracy theory nonsense.

Brief Overview of the situation. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022837080

Report of the Bipartisan Congressional Report. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=4339814

Hardly any CT nonsense there or do you think it's Conspiracy Theory to think that Congress released a report on the incident?

I argued that Jay Carney saying "it happened a long time ago" was stupid. And it was stupid. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022824286#post40

I warned that we would look bad if we didn't handle it right, and come out and tell the truth, all of the truth, right away. Guess what, We do look bad. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/06/16/cnnorc-poll-majority-dissatisfied-with-handling-of-benghazi/

Sixty percent of the people polled are dissatisfied with the handling of Benghazi. Well shit, who would have thunk that? Oh wait, that's right. Those of us who thought that were labeled as RW plants by small minded individuals.

We waited too long to let the truth out in dribs and drabs, and now people don't know what really happened. But who cares about that, we got to make fun of the Republicans, and while it made your friends and family laugh, the vast majority aren't really laughing. They think it was a cover-up. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/05/benghazi-poll_n_6277742.html

Eighty four percent don't know what the House Report that had been released around Thanksgiving showed. Wow, who could have predicted that.

I have written about the Fast and Furious program which was an utter disaster. Again, it happened. I never said that President Obama ordered it, or anything like that.

I wrote that I believed the Government certainly knew where the Malaysian Airlines flight 370 was. http://metamorphosis.democraticunderground.com/10024662018

Not really conspiracy theory there. Since my assumptions were based upon declassified programs that had been in use for decades. Things like over the horizon radar systems, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Over-the-horizon_radar Things like SOSUS, and satellite systems that can track thermal targets.

Not much RW conspiracy nonsense there. Just a consistent consideration about how things look to the average person, and how that would affect the Democratic Party in our electoral chances.

Bad optics stick with you. Remember these pictures?

Yes, everyone standing in the hatch of a tank looks pretty much just like that with the incorporated earphone helmets. But that got lots of laughs didn't it? Oh well it didn't matter. We won as I guess we're supposed to recall now.

Yeah, that didn't matter either. I mean, we won that one too.

No, I'm not saying those bad optic photos lost us the election, but they erode support, and each bad optic event hurts Democratic Party chances at a victory.

Now, you can keep pretending that I am a RW plant who tells people we should campaign on issues because 2014 was going to be a tough fight and we had to work to keep the Senate. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025127805#post34

I'd post more of those kinds of links, but this reply would be extraordinarily long then wouldn't it?

So I'm a RW plant that for months ahead of time said that we could and would lose the Senate if we didn't take the election seriously. Under that plan, I would have to guess that the Democratic Part was too arrogant and stupid to take good advice and campaign on the issues that the people said mattered in polling. By the time the rest of the folks woke up and saw the danger, the election results were coming in. They were worse than I had assumed.

So my advice so far has been ignored because I'm a RW plant, and the end result I've warned about has come true many more times than not. Wouldn't a RW plant tell you to go ahead and ignore such things because they don't matter? I mean, if I was a RW plant, wouldn't it be more advantageous to the Republican side to have the Democrats underestimate them, and make stupid mistakes, and all the bad optics things?

I mean, I've read the story about Brier Rabbit, and he encouraged the Fox to do the stupid thing, he didn't warn the Fox that throwing the rabbit into the Brier patch would allow him to escape. So am I an incompetent RW plant who can't seem to understand the idea that I'm supposed to hurt the Democrats, or am I an especially clever RW plant that knows the Democratic Party is too arrogant to listen to good advice and certainly too stubborn to act on it? Because those are your only two choices at this point.
