74. Wolves...like any wild animals...are renewable resources which need to be managed.

I certainly don't want to see them (or any other animal) go extinct, but mawkish sentimentality over the death of a few hundred animals doesn't lead to a productive debate over the proper ratio of predators vs. prey.
