(53,401 posts)Regardless of the merits of the candidates, the math shows Warren lost that demo in her race for Senate (unless she tied among minority men which is highly doubtful to say the least). They didn't have exit polls (at least that I could find) but I am linking a PPP poll that was run in March of 2010 and then an article that described her support based on polls coming in to the election. http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_MA_320.pdf

Both show her at best tying men overall but dominating women. Since Massachusetts isn't entirely white, and she won the minority male vote going away, she had to have lost the white male vote by a considerable margin. This is no slam of Warren, none of our candidates have been winning the white male vote, but the fact is none of them have been including Warren.
