In reply to the discussion: Why do HRC opponents think that baiting pro-HRC Dems will HELP their non existent candidate? [View all]Chan790
(20,176 posts)You're missed the objective...it's not about helping a candidate that doesn't exist yet.
It's entirely about destroying this one and driving her from the race, ideally before the start in earnest of the primary season and demoralizing her supporters so they will fall in line behind a real Democrat once Hillary is vanquished. That is...not helping not-existing hypothetical candidates but actively working to destroy one specific existing actual candidate: it's all about ending Hillary as a candidate for the Presidency forever.
(I have no expectations that 2016 is going to be any less bloody than 2008, even if Hillary runs effectively-unopposed. She is simply unilaterally-unacceptable to too many people for Democrats or DUers to fall in line behind without a fight and a purge.)
I simply-put will never support her under any condition ever. I will ascribe her subsequent loss to the worst Republican option as inevitable, the result of her supporters not banding with real Democrats to drive her out. It's not our fault for not voting for her...it's your fault for not working to destroy her futile candidacy.
