(15,427 posts)I supported Barrack Obama in part because I thought he was such a good guy and had so little history they might be a little less jackassish toward hiim.
I was wrong on that.
The last 6 years would have been just the same with Hillary - they would have acted the same in congress, complete and total resistance, no effort to do anything and completely obsessed with destroying her.
They were like they are to PHBO like they were to Hillary UNTIL BHO became the presumptive democratic candidate, then they turned to him.
People forget how they were to Bill Clinton and Hillary in the 90s.
It was bad - the reason they found the blue dress was a never ending stream of fishing expeditions investigating him.
They accussed him of being a drug dealer and having Vince Foster killed.
Yeah, they race bait and flat engage in racism. It is the handy tool. But it is important to understand the primary motive is destroying the democrat.
IF they had accused Barrack Obama of being a drug dealer and having someone killed, that would be proof to some that it was all racially motivated, but it was the white guy they accused of these things.
They made a man who actually served in Vietnam honroably and was wounded out to be WEAK and UNPATRIOTIC while making the putkebag son of privilege that dodged real action as RESOLUTE AND TOUGH, and having KEPT US SAFE even though he let 9-11 happen on his watch.
Howard Dean was destoryed over a real show of emotion, Al Gore painted as an arrogant liar in contrast to the "guy you would like to have a beer with!"
They just scamble around until they get some bullshit that sticks and have both a media willing sprew their stupidity and a country willing to go along for the ride.
Whatever extent they are racist, racism is a tool of convinience.
