(28,017 posts)(this is AFTER i signed up on the Do Not Solicit list) telling me that my windows computer has a bad virus and that I am at risk of losing all my data.
I keep him going for a while, too, then finally tell him that all I use is Macs, and I won't even run a windows program through software.
The worst, though, was a call I got after a storm. A local business called, (sunday, when they were closed) and told me that their inspector was driving around and saw major damage to my roof. I said I was stunned. I asked which part, the East or the West facing roof. He said east. (My huge roof faces North and South) I asked if it reached to the second, higher roof with the two brick chimneys? He says it looked like the storm got both of them AND damaged one of the chimneys. (I only have one roof, and the chimney is galvanized)
I really felt like inviting him out while the police waited, but I simply ended up telling him to go pound sand.
