33. My dad got the best one
Fri Apr 24, 2015, 06:48 PM
Apr 2015

The scammer called the house. My dad answered it.

"Hi dad? This is your son-in-law. I was riding my motorcycle in Toronto and got arrested. I'm in jail right now."

Dad comes back, "is this Floyd?" Well, of course it was Floyd.

This would have been an acceptable scam except for four little problems...

Floyd doesn't have a Bangalore accent.
Floyd hasn't owned a motorcycle in six years.
The REASON Floyd hasn't owned a motorcycle is he's now legally blind.
And Floyd was sitting in Dad's living room.

So Dad, without lowering the phone, yelled at the top of his lungs,
"Hey Floyd!"
'Yeah?'
"Are you in jail in Toronto?"

"Floyd" hasn't called back.
