599. I'm sorry, I'm lucky where I live in Upstate NY, in a mostly rural area. Mostly farmers

so we know where most of our food comes from. Still there are what look like commercial farms filled with corn not too far away and I noticed there are no farm stands which is unusual.

Now I'm worried they may be using their poisonous insecticides and their Roundup Corn or whatever they do.

Even though they are fairly far from us, once they begin to pollute the land, it affects all of us.

I am going to see if there is a movement in NY to get them banned.

As for those who enable them, it's hard not to be angry but as you say, let them be the guinea pigs for Monsanto's giant lab.

We are told, here on DU of all places, that GMOs are perfectly safe. Don't read the comments here, it will not make you feel good.

I have no intention of being intimidated by anyone, so I just use them now to kick threads like this.

The Bill they are going to try to pass is the Dark Act, keep America in the Dark.

They are treating this country, with the help of our Reps unfortunately, they way they treated Third World countries.

And yes, the American people want their foods labeled by 90%. In what Democracy does a government ignore such a demand from the people?

They are buying our government.
