59. I got a message on my machine

from "blah blah" from the IRS Criminal Enforcement Division (a Grand Rapids, MI area code!): Psraphrasing: "Our office has determined that YOU filed owe money to the IRS. Call us immediately or we will send the police to your house and you will be arrested." The whole time, it was "YOU" not my name. I was laughing so hard at how transparently fake it was, I had to listen to it three times to get through it all. I really wish I had been home to answer, because I would have played him for everything. I would have kept him on the line for two hours just to fuck with him.

Unfortunately, there's too many people who will fall for this.
