(62,325 posts)I am not overly concerned about what people who support depriving the American people of rights think about my standing up for anyone who takes a stand on those issues, and will continue to do so regardless of the few people who make a practice out of TRYING to intimidate Democrats from doing so.
I respect people who disagree with me, IF they make an argument from their POV. I have zero respect for people who clearly have an agenda that is opposed to the best interests of this country imo, and who attempt to distract from issues using every silly antic they can. Talk about credibility.
They have zero impact on me.
If you are referring to my OP on GMOs and the attempt to silence Dr Oz for using his microphone to take a stand to join the majority of the American people 90% of whom want their food labeled, I wonder why anyone would find that offensive unless THEY have an agenda.
I am glad to see that THIS attack completely backfired. I hear a lot of talk about pragmatism on this forum, mainly from people who use those very tactics when Pragatism is actually needed.
To me, it is pragmatic to support those who speak up against Monsanto, Walmart and unless that person has been in jail for FRAUD, who has a large following which I don't have, access to the media, which we don't have, I will support them especially when it exposes the frauds who lie to us on a regular basis.
Thank you for your opinion, at least you stated it respectfully, which the anti Oz (and I know little about him other than he appears to have supporters and opposers) did not, which means their antics meant nothing to me.
