(55,008 posts)is the OP correct? about what? not that I can see.
yes it seems you have a bit of a lack of a scientific background or understanding. the group you are complaining about isn't really participating here in this thread to educate you. they (we) are having a bit of fun with the recurring and apparently intentional ignorance displayed. the time for attempts to educate/convey real information/explain errors is LONG past. I rarely venture out of the Lounge and even I have noticed the lack of logic or scientific understanding and the persistence of trying promote a whacky agenda. it almost appears as satire or and attempt to make real anti-nuke activists look like idiots.
there is a difference between casual observation and data, and there is a difference between raw data and a scientific conclusion. these essential steps are utterly missing from the things I have seen this individual post. to then read his "explanation" for the critical error of not knowing about swallow migration (much less physics, biology, chemistry, geology, oceanography, climate, weather, and much of any other physical science) to be an intentional "test" of his audience is the utmost in blatant disingenuousness. it all goes back to credibility.
there is a difference between being open minded and being gullible.
