Please explain to me how destroying the businesses serving their community helps them? Cause from my white perspective all I can think is, where will they get their food tomorrow. Or any of the other necessities of life that have just been destroyed.

I suppose it could be a catharsis for pent up anger but the end result will be a lack of willingness to invest in their community. As a White guy if I was looking for places to invest my money the last place I would pick would be the one that has shown a willingness to take out their anger on the innocent businesses that were trying to serve them.

Maybe there will be a huge influx of investment from black people who think that sort of behavior makes the community attractive Somehow I doubt it though.

Which leaves them better off how?
