I've seen the theory that, to be a natural born citizen, and hence eligible for the Presidency, the candidate must have been born in the United States to two U.S. citizen parents. This standard would disqualify Obama (one noncitizen parent) and McCain (born in Panama).

This theory is not found in the Constitution. In fact, it's pretty much destroyed by the Fourteenth Amendment.
