76. CBS is Going Hard Right

At least Schieffer raised the question. But Perkins' appearance on Face the Nation is further proof that CBS has turned right. Lately, even the story line of popular dramas like Madam Secretary and The Good Wife have conservative politics built into the script. The takeaway from Sunday's episode of Madam Secretary was that for the US to sign the Iran nuclear treaty was wrong, because that nation stones gays. It leaves me to believe that the tentacles of the war industry, in sync with corporate politics, have captured network programming. The Good Wife let Diane's brilliant argument in favor of gay marriage be trumped by a distinguished lawyer who had the last word against it. So watch with caution, folks. CBS is using drama as propaganda.
