33. If you start looking at the video tapes that are pileing up as police brutality evidence...

It easy to conclude that there is a culture of corruption deeply embedded in America's police departments. They lie and cover up their over use of force with the "I was fearing for my life" excuse, or try to make it look like they were the victim, because the suspect was "resisting arrest" AKA, trying to protect themselves from being brutally beaten. Most of the time, the District Attorney's office will not prosecute these dirty cops because they are either afraid of reprisals or part of the corruption. It's time police department budgets to be the target for juries to award victims of police brutality and hand out financially devastating punitive damages to these police departments. Send the message: "Clean up your act, or take a huge pay cut". You will find that their peers will be more than happy to weed out the trouble makers to protect their own livelihood.
