(68,644 posts)My best friend is going to Anaheim for the state convention and I was sharing that observation.
He agrees, Bernie can win.
His negatives, "socialist" label and age, aren't as powerful to the typical voter at Clinton's are.
And his messages are always clear, his history consistent, and he hits the issues that Independents and many if not most registered Republicans can relate to.
More than anything, however, is the simple fact that he doesn't use that horrible political form of speech that uses catch phrases but says nothing.
You know what I mean, rhetoric without substance, without passion. That is 100% Clinton and a true, too, of most of the GOP, though they seem to use fear and bigotry more than any Dems.
We can do this, Bernie can win.
