(40,416 posts)41. Based on info released after the Soviet Union fell.
Apparently Costner made this project as an important political project, and it was a very good one, especially in its historic accuracy. I mean other than the lame O 'Donnell family back plot and Costner's absolutely horrible Boston accent.
On the other hand, both Greenwood and Culp shine as the Kennedy brothers, as do the rest of the supporting cast.
One of my faves. Even though I lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis as a young teen and know the plot and outcome, this is still gripping drama.
Highly recommended, especially for Bruce Greenwood's JFK portrayal. And Culp's RFK ain't bad either.
