(174,193 posts)I hate to break it to you but DU does not reflect the Democratic Party. Time will tell but without financial backing, I doubt that Sanders will do well in the primary process. In particular I do not see Sanders doing well in states that require a ground game like Iowa. Iowa takes a ground organization. At this stage in the 2008 cycle, Obama had 30+ field offices in Iowa. It takes that type of organization to win in a state like Iowa. The same people who ran Obama's operations in Iowa are now working for HRC.
Look, I like Bernie personally but I am going to vote and support the candidate who I think can win in the general election. Bernie will have to do a great deal to show me that he as the ability to be a general election candidate including raising some real money
