Why would the NRA give Bernie Sanders an F grade? [View all]

Doesn't that strike anyone else as curious? The NRA makes the claim that they base their grading system on votes for gun legislation,it would seem to me that that is not really true at all.I think Bernie's F rating is proof positive that the NRA bases their rating on how closely a legislator resembles a conservative republican and that is not what they claim to do.
