In reply to the discussion: Seems like Hilary Clinton is the only Democrat running!! [View all]liberal_at_heart
(12,081 posts)15. Can I ask a question? Why does it matter Bernie is an Independent?
If Bernie were running third party Democrats would be all over him calling him a Ralph Nader. Oddly enough they still are calling him a Nader even though he is not running third party. He is not running third party. He is running for the Democratic Party nomination. He did so as to not hurt the Democratic Party. What more does he have to do? Swear his undying loyalty to the party? Swear that he will fall in line with the DNC? Swear that he will be a centrist and pragmatist? I'm glad he is not beholden to the party. The American workers, the middle class, the working poor, and those living below the poverty line need a Democratic Socialist, someone who will fight for them and not for the super rich.

Please relax! It's early yet, and other Democrats are getting ready to run.

Thanks for telling me who to vote for. Now I don't have to bother thinking for myself.

I agree with you. You all have to vote in someone who is for the working class, the poor.

That is why so many of us like Bernie. He is rallying for the middle class and for the poor.
