(33,085 posts)if not, write the Association/Board of Directors and tell them you feel unsafe and concerned for your safety and your family's safety. You might also ask when the next board meeting is and ask to be put on the agenda in order to address safety concerns.
Does the Condominium Association have a professional management firm? or do they self manage? Do not address your letter to the management firm, if they have one, but address to the Board of Directors at whatever mailing address has been provided to you.
Frankly, I can't believe they will not allow a peep hole. In fact, not allowing deadbolts as well as peep holes is unheard of in this day and age. Do any of the board members live in the community?
Regardless, put your safety concerns in writing. If they have half a wit that should scare the bjesuz out of them and they should grant you permission to install both of the above items.
