My favorite fishing and camping lake is Chimney rock lake. A GRDA pumped storage lake of about 750 acres surface area above lake Hudson between Locust Grove and Salina. The water is pretty clear and its very deep. Lots of 140 ft plus with one spot near the earthen dam that goes to 185 ft. No gasoline engines are allowed which makes for some peaceful outings.
