the social and physical infrastructure of the country destroyed, the spread of the war to Libya, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, ...., with hundreds of thousands more dead, the entire ME in flames.

Pity. But what the hell. "Those barbarian Arabs with their 7th century ideas, they're just not ready for freedom, democracy, and western values - so it's their fault."
