142. Look, as a female leftist I am told all the time to ignore

wedge issues and focus on class. I think it's virtually impossible to do that but I do understand that the only thing the 1%'ers really care about is money. There are bigots that are certainly wealthy, but that is not why they oppress people. They oppress people because they like keeping their power and money. Do we have to fight on all fronts? I believe we do. But do they care if we're in the street protesting? I don't think they do unless it threatens commerce significantly.

Edited to add - not trying to downplay all of the other racism/sexism out there that comes from various classes. Of course both issues have to be addressed. Was just commenting (perhaps inartfully) that they don't see us as a threat unless it affects commerce.
