(15,418 posts)Evidently, the black guy wasn't arrested. Or at least, he wasn't handcuffed when taken from the street. Guns were still semi-trained on both he and his wife when the officer picked up the gun, but we don't see how this ended. Was he given his gun back and allowed to continue on his way? Or was he arrested and taken into jail on some bogus charge? Did the officers find a way to "explain away" their overreaction, or was it simple racism at play? Be curious to know where this took place, too.
And what of the white guy? There too, the video stopped in the middle of the scene. I'd be curious to hear what transpired, both between the officer and the white guy and the gang of officers (gaggle? herd? murder -- as with crows?) interrogating the black guy. It wouldn't change the dynamic of inequality, but it would be enlightening to learn the ending.
