Tarp can be used to drag things back to camp on, as a blanket, shelter - lots of things.
The fishing pole is for its normal use.
The knife because it's a very handy thing to have in an emergency situation
And the raft...you can collect rainwater in it, use it as a shelter, lay it on the sand upside down and hope a plane spots it, or get the hell OFF the island in it. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west; knowing that, you should be able to navigate in a rudimentary enough fashion to get you into a shipping channel.
