The President and Michele have been on discussing serious topics. John McCain was on last week. Mitt Romney has made token appearances. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pope didn't go on if the show were still on.
How do you know he would lose to Clinton? Did you see SNL the last few weeks? If they have their way, it doesn't appear that she's their choice. They are torching her with regularity.
And he would not be embarrassed because his show won't be on, and his fans like him too much even if his candidate lost. It would just prove that he's honest enough not to go along with the crowd.
