But Dave won't do the same thing. Carson still humbles him (although having gone thru Steve Allen, Jack Paar, and Johnny Carson, I think David was, hand's down, the best of them.

He does more with talent-challenged people than anyone else ever has because he enjoys them, and I love watching him love them.
