Showing Original Post only (View all)My review of Men's groups on the internets. [View all]
I typed in Men's Group in teh Googles to get a sense of what they are talking about in today's world.
My mission was to try and understand their grievances and why they were members of a group for men.
Once I got past the typical adolescent shit of Hot Celebs and Women's excercise clothing, I began to sense a disturbing consistency of hatred for the word Feminist. The mocking tone in their posts about feminism was really obsessive and creepy as hell.
I don't get it---Seriously, I don't get the obsession.
What I found with the groups I reviewed is---sure---some men have legitimate grievances--- most caused by a divorce.
That was about it. Other than that it was nothing more than groups set-up to bash women and objectify women.

As a man, I have no idea why I would want to participate in a "Men's Group"

There *are* legitimate Men's groups, as opposed to the designated hate groups that are MRAs

I was replying to your general 'why do men need a forum' question, the way I understood it.

They should be classified as hate groups, no different than white supremacists. nt
