4. Well, it's good news.

But, "A big fucking deal?" Please.

We are fighting, and losing, wars. We are in an economy that is NOT recovering for the working man and woman, so there are STILL far too many unemployed and underemployed. The share of the work force participating as at an abysmal low number. Congress is dysfunctional. Economic inequality is appalling.

"Social issues" are Republican territory. It is Republicans who want to splinter this country with issues like abortion and gay marriage.

Accept that Obama has taken the high ground, but lets not be Republican and ignore things that really are a big deal in order to claim that we have the high ground on moral issues. We do not beat Republicans by becoming their mirror images.
