(26,451 posts)I'll try to do better in the future, but in this case, I really don't know if I could point out the difference in a way that you and others would not consider being a slap, so I went for a little humor.
That HRC has been a liberal stalwart on issues, is a fictional notion. There are maybe a handful of issues that she has not evolved on as it became easier to support them because the public obviously supported them. DOMA being one of the evolving viewpoints.
I am tired of politicians who look to a weather vane before stating a position. That is why many people simply do not vote. That is the main reason I stand with Bernie.
This OP is not spin, it is what happened, and HRC supporters here are claiming that what she is doing by controlling the press opportunities and vetting attendees for Q and A sessions is smart politics. I see it as a sign of weakness. I see it as not having an opinion until being told by advisers what the focus groups say the opinion should be.
That is the DLC way. The DLC way is a primary reason why we are where we are.
We finally have a cogent individual who is building a movement on his way to the white house. Who will keep that movement engaged instead of saying thanks, I got this now.
I'm dumbstruck trying to figure out how people can't get on board with that. It's like they don't want to fix anything, but just complain that someone made a little joke out of their candidate's behavior.
