(24,853 posts)46. No matter how good The Scientific Method is, it can be subverted by just about anyone.
Anyone who is convinced of something and lacking the objectivity to see otherwise can use The Scientific Method to prove their theory correct.
Some of the most entertaining time I have spent on the internet was spent reading about what people were, once upon a time, convinced of. Better yet, what they were able to make others believe.
