You'd think one or two of them would have the fortitude to at least swat down some of the outrageous stuff but I suppose it would be pointless anyway as they know the media wouldn't touch it unless there was a breath of scandal in it. No, I have no expectations that Dem reps or Senators will lift a finger to help with the heavy lifting if it's not in their own interest and I mostly don't hold it against them as they have their own battles to fight. But yeah they let him twist in the wind for months. Kind of sickening.
