(40,416 posts)I still think that that argues for serendipity, to an extent. As I said earlier this ended up being classic Rope-A-Dope. The Republicans and their party-not-named associates were playing the social politics card so often, and throughout the country, that how better than to do the Rope-A-Dope.
The Repukes now have to live with this. In the meantime, Obama moves on to the economy while Repukes still have to defend against the social political Rope-A-Dope. Certainly, the Repuke led state legislatures don't seem to be willing to let it go. That means more Rope-A-Dope.
It was brilliantly played and the consequences for the Rmoney have been profound.
The lights will be burning late tonight at Camp Rmoney. I have a feeling that will be a common occurrence until November.
