(2,760 posts)for the reminder of Bill Clinton up against a war hero and not the perpetual comparrison to 2008. I for one happen to think that HRC could easily go down in flames in the general. If only a handful of people have the same negative feelings I have for her and spread that feeling around, it could be a tough race come next November. I have been talking to a lot of folks who don't know who he is and getting them to check him out. When they get back to me, every last one is as exited about voting for him as I am. It will surely build as time goes on.
When non political types who are burned out with the elites, the youth and those who are sick of the "it's her turn" meme see that he's the real deal, they will come on board in droves. That is my prediction. Call me naive if you want, but I'm 74 years old and I seen a lot of election cycles. There is a very different feel this time.
