One of my RW sisters, married to a HUGE homophobe (okay she's a homophobe too) loves Ellen. Anyway, she waits for him to leave the house and watches Ellen. She even records the shows since he doesn't know how to work it and doesn't know, and watches at all times of day when he's gone.

She's loved her ever since that first Ellen show long ago. She and I both still giggle over old episodes. So, I'm hoping that Ellen's laughter and kind spirit will win the day eventually. Who can listen to her and look at that face and not be won over, I ask. That's always been the sister who's been the most reasonable. Maybe I'm hoping for nothing. But you never know.
