94. Passing the Torch Symposium - 2013 Duquesne University

As a Democrat, a DUer and as a citizen of the United States, I was proud to attend "Passing the Torch: An International Symposium on the 50th Anniversary of the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy" at Duquesne University in October. The presenters provided the latest. Some of the information, such as Dan Hardway's presentation on the CIA obstruction of justice would have been front-page news, if the media and academia did their jobs. But, no. Instead it's what George Orwell wrote:

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”
