Obama Reaches Out To 5-Year-Old Gay Marriage Advocate On Twitter: Couldnt Agree More! (TWEETS)
Since his very first tweet, the President has been putting the account to good use, cracking hilariously clever remarks at his political colleagues, blocking anti-woman pages and reaching out to his youngest fans. One of his tiniest supporters is 5-year-old Yasmeen Faruqui, who got a special message from Obama himself on Friday.
Yasmeen was dreading her homework, so she told her mother that she wanted to write a letter to President Obama instead. In Yasmeens wise-beyond-her-years letter, she made a few insightful requests. She wrote:
Please stop war for our world, instead have a meeting. Please give a speech to tell everyone they can marry who they want.
Yasmeens aunt, Fahmida Zaman, posted a photo of the note to Twitter, hoping Obama would see it. She never imagined that the President would write back!
