9. 1st things 1st...put it in park and put on the parking brake!

LOOSEN lugs, jack up the car, THEN remove lugs, then tire...put on new tire and reverse the process..put on new tire hand tighten lugs, lower the jack...re-tighten lugs with lug nut until really tight.

And I am a woman! After which I will take to a garage to make sure the tire is tight enough.
